A flea dirt is their feces, which is reddish-brown dust like specks left behind by fleas. Leaving it in your home can  be dangerous, so if it comes to your notice, be sure to clean them up by using a paper and disinfect them while on the towel, and if you notice a red or a brown spots then it is likely flea dirt.

  • Search for their eggs under the carpets and furniture
Although it is hard to identify the eggs of a flea, but there is no harm in trying to look fot their eggs. Their eggs are tiny and hard to see, if the situation goes pretty serious, then you should call in professionals to check it up for you and take care of it as soon as possible.
